What is a KDI?
Key Developmental Indicators (KDIs) are specific skills and behaviors that show how young children are growing and learning. They focus on important areas like language, social skills, problem-solving, creativity, and physical development. Teachers use KDIs to guide lesson planning, observe children’s progress, and support their overall development through play and hands-on learning.

Domains
Each KDI is broken down into 8 domains, which are divided into smaller subcategories that focus on specific skills within that area of development.
